The story of Les Voiles de St Tropez began on September 29th, 1981, when the yacht Pride challenged the 12-meter Ikra on a course from the village of St Tropez to Pampelonne beach, passing by the Nioulargo (“nest of the open sea” in local dialect). Since then, each year, the most extraordinary sailing boats in the world—classic yachts in the first week and modern maxi-yachts in the second—gather in the Gulf of St Tropez to compete in an atmosphere where competition and conviviality come together.
It is aboard one of the most beautiful classic yachts that we offer you the exceptional opportunity to take part on Friday, October 4th or Saturday, October 5th, in the St Tropez regattas, which are among the most renowned in the world.
Yes, you read that right: to take part as a real crew member, guided by your team. Extraordinary moments that will remain forever etched in your memory. And perhaps you will even step onto the podium and leave with the cup!
This legendary yacht, made entirely of teak and mahogany, was built in England in 1929 to race across all the seas of the globe. Measuring 30 meters in length with a main mast reaching 15 meters high, it won the world’s most prestigious races powered by its 320 m² of sails. Restored with all modern comforts, it now sails in the Mediterranean for your greatest pleasure.
We provide you with three superb classic yachts, exclusively, to experience the regattas from the inside in a unique atmosphere. Each outing includes lunch in the form of a picnic basket served on board. A rare opportunity to watch the regattas aboard true gems of maritime heritage.
The 1896 Pilot Cutter, 20 meters long, offers a maximum capacity of 16 people. Finally, the majestic 1931 Yawl, with its 24 meters in length and 130 m² of deck space, can welcome up to 40 passengers for an unforgettable experience at sea.
