HIPPISM - PRIX D'AMÉRIQUE 2026

The Prix d’Amérique has been created in 1920 in recognition of the commitment of American forces during the First World War. This international sport event is opened to trotters from 4 to 10 years old and takes place every year during the last weekend of January.

The Prix d’Amérique, it’s 40 000 spectators in situ looking at this worldwide event which is also the best-endowed in France with a 1 million euros award. The 18 best trotters will be confronting each other with an average speed of 50 km/h... you'll be in for a real eyeful!

We propose you to attend all the races comfortably settled in your VIP area located just above the grandstand racetrack in front of the finish line. Through bay windows, you will have a panoramic view on the racetrack.

• 11.00am : GATES OPEN: 40,000 spectators are expected to come and enjoy the excitement of the Prix d’Amérique at the Hippodrome Paris-Vincennes
• 12h00 : START OF THE 1ST RACE: 11 races are on the programme for this meeting, including 7 Group races, the cream of the discipline!
• 1.40pm : GRAND SHOW US: Parade, parade of over 100 Harley-davidsons, acrobats, dancers, stilt-walkers and other entertainments for a breathtaking show on the track
• 3.50pm: SHOW BY THE REPUBLICAN GUARD with his riders and accompanied by his 30 musicians
• 4.00 pm: PARADE OF LEGENDS: Presentation of the former glories of the Prix d'Amérique: Kesaco Phedo, Jag de Bellouet, Meaulnes du Corta, Up and Quick...
• 4.10pm : OFFICIAL PARADE: Presentation and parade of the 18 drivers starting in the Prix d'Amérique
• 4.20pm : START OF THE PRIX D'AMÉRIQUE: The 18 starters are launched onto the 2,700m main track at Paris-Vincennes racecourse. The winner will be crowned World Champion of harness trotting
• 16:30pm : TOUR OF HONOUR: The World Champion will take his lap of honour to great applause
• 4.35pm : OFFICIAL PODIUM: Prize-giving ceremony for the first 3 winners of the Prix d'Amérique
• 6.45pm : START OF THE LAST RACE IN THE PROGRAMME
